While it seems as though we just got the crop in the ground, and in some cases may be evaluating for a replant situation, it is time to put some agronomy field days on the summer calendar.
Join OSU Extension for an Agronomic Field Day on June 23 at the Northwest Agricultural Research Station in Wood County. Topics for the day include an update on tar spot in corn, yield response from different sulfur sources used in soybeans, how flooding effects corn, and an update on soybean diseases.
The field day starts at 9:00 a.m. and runs thru 12:00 noon, with lunch to follow. Lunch is sponsored by the Ohio Corn and Wheat Growers Association.
The Northwest Agricultural Research Station is located at 4340 Range Line Rd., Custar, OH, 43511. An RSVP is requested by June 16th to https://osu.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_5ywHYi85pidV2eO
